I AM

I am brilliant & amazing, don’t you agree?
I wonder what the world really sees in me?
I hear the rhymes that the kids are saying!
I see the kids that are also softly playing!
I want the brightest future possible for them and for me!

I am brilliant & amazing, don’t you agree?
I pretend that in this crazy world, it’s only me!
I feel that family’s love is the strongest love!
I touch all of my goals that I fall short of!
I worry if my future will be as bright as I have planned!
I cry because some of those moments have already passed!!

I am brilliant & amazing, don’t you agree?
I understand that things won’t always go my way!
I say that there will always be a brighter day!
I dream that my future is as bright as the sun!
I try to make learning extremely fun!
I hope that this is also what you see ,because this is me!
I am brilliant & amazing, don’t you agree?

MY LAST DAY

It was my last day at the school, so this day I decided to stay the entire day. I usually leave after the students each lunch, so I don’t get to sit in with the last group of students. Today after lunch, the classes exchanged. Afterwards, the students went to P.E. when they returned they were very tired, but yet hyped up. Mrs. Forbus tried to calm them down; they just weren’t listening. This class does not pay her much attention. I feel that she was more lenient towards them than she were with the rest of the classes. However, this class has the lowest grades of all classes. I think that the low grades come from the not paying attention and her being lenient. I think that they should take P.E at the end of the day, because it affects their learning, because P.E is a more active class.

Waiting For Superman

    We watched a movie called Waiting for Superman. It was a movie about the education system. It describe how different school syetems work.Waiting for Superman was very interesting. It gave some huge pointers on the education system today. Some parts of the world have very harsh conditions when it comes down to getting an education. They students have to be entered into a lottery in order to go to another school. However, I think that it's very cruel for students to have to suffer because of their economy.
    The students have to suffer not only because of the school system but also because of their parents. Waiting for Superman was a eye opener for me. It helped me realize how good U have it compared to others around the world. I really enjoyed the movie and I think that everyone should see it, especially if you plan on being a future educator.

My 21st Century Classroom

   My 21st century classroom will look and feel like a caring environment. It will be located in an elementary school filled with many students. My classroom will have students of many races and ethnics. Designing my classroom will take me through the process of identifying the curriculum and framework for a 21st century classroom. My classroom will help students feel as if they have the power to make their test scores and learning exceed the average. I will make their learning exciting, because I feel that learning should be fun.
   My 21st Century Classroom will:
          * Meet Students Needs
          * Exceed All Standards
          * Higher Test Scores
          * Make Learning Fun
          * Help Students Enjoy Learning
  I will enjoy my 21st Century Classroom and so will my students.
